Cask, Corks & Forks Gala Event

All five Winegrowers of the Grand River Valley member wineries come together for the red wine tasting event of the year at the same location! Join us in the Sky Room at the new Riverbend Hotel & Suites off historic Bridge Street in Ashtabula for an epic food & red wine pairing event! Tickets are $105 per person and packages are available that include an overnight stay at the hotel. Choose from River View or standard rooms. Live entertainment 6-9PM. This year’s event will feature an impressive grazing table with charcuterie, heavy appetizers and chocolate desserts paired with each Cask wine. Gift bags will include savings at each member winery and a commemorative logo red wine glass for each guest.

Winegrowers of the Grand River Valley Cask Red Wine Project
The Cask Project began as an idea in 2010 to have continual red blends from the Grand River Valley. Each year, a percentage of the wine will be bottled and sold to make room for the next year’s harvest. The date on the bottle represents the year it began, “10,” and the year it was bottled, “25”. Each estate winery chose a different 500 gallon Cask barrel to fill with vinifera grapes from their own farms with wines crafted by their respective winemakers. Perpetually aged, perpetually oaked and annually refreshed with a new exceptional estate vintage. The blend at each location is unique. They are all extraordinary.
